Gesture Drawings

A sampling of more than 300 gesture drawings, vine charcoal on 19”x 24” archival paper. As Judith wrote in her journal, “Continuing my interest in motion, I began doing small quickly drawn gesture drawings, simply for the physical act of doing them and the feel of charcoal gliding over slick paper. I retained those that struck a chord in me. Some became source material.”
