Figure Drawings – Judith Roode

For the figure drawings, charcoal and charcoal pencil, often 30”x40,” Judith worked over time with a small group of the same models. The poses –with breaks—were long. The drawings emerged out of close observation, search and reconsideration, based on shared female experience.
